Odd, I see so much negative about the device and for me its been a god send, an amazing tool that I love. I am obviously in the minority looking around online. I still can not fathom why. I am not going to go on about the good the bad etc, but its so amazed me the statement such as I would feel bad selling it to for the person buying. There is no chance of me selling mine as it loved and cherished. The difference of perspective or opinion is what in fact amazes me. I have ADHD and it has been a boon, keeping me away from side quests, not looking at my phone, saving heaps of time, verifying things I am hyper focusing on. My wife was trying to prove it was useless and I said ok, give me a very hard question, one that will not be known much but you know. It answered so precisely and correctly she sees it differently. Open AI did not answer it correctly. The thing is it recognizes every single word I say and in fast speech in conversation. I do have a very clear broadcast voice, maybe that helps I don’t know. But the input is relevant and important. Garbage in garbage out. One thing I do know, for me to carry on the love, the company has to survive, or its an orange plastic lump of nothing. It requires the support for that to happen. So many slated it before anyone had one, and thats the world maybe. But I had faith, glad I kept it and I love it. Honestly truely.

Hard to deal with this UI. Hope Rabbit begins to understand the folly they’ve released upon us as real innovation. Makes me sad.

I really wanted to love this thing (as a fanboy of teenage engineering), (and a fan of anything “alt”), but after just a few interactions I am powering the R1 down in pure anger and frustration! – please help a teenage engineering fanboy like this thing!

To me it is a testing device for where rabbit is currently with AI/Perplexity. I know I have mentioned this on my many posts but every morning, ask your r1 to: “tell me a joke I have not heard before?”. That is where we are all currently at…
