It frustrates me that it can’t remember when I ask it for the weather and despite asking 15 times to save to perm memory location and in degrees it point blank refuses. If you reference back it apologies and says it will next time.
I don’t like the shake for settings as every time I take it out of my pocket from walking its on the setting’s screen. Wasting battery constantly being on that screen.
I don’t like the fact that it can’t search the rabbit hole or fails to find a reminder or note and just creates another duplicate.
The rabbit hole needs some tweaking with deleting things it’s a faff to keep reloading the page surely this can be improved.
Why can’t it remember I’m located in the UK it searches American news for random places like Texas and Missouri I live in the UK.
What’s the point of storage on the device if it’s impossible to use it.
LAM is none existent ATM and that was one of the main reasons I purchased the device.
Mines started to answer me back and tell me to use my mobile even when I’ve previously asked to do something and there’s been success but show your friend and it fails miserably.
This has not been my experience at all, there is almost certainly something wrong with your battery. @simon or @rabbit should be able to get you taken care of
It’s not integrated with my email, calendar or texts. It would be nice to say “add xyz to my calendar”. “Send an email to xyz”. “Send a text to xyz”.
Would also be nice if you could tell Rabbit to send you emails or messages that contain information. For example, email me an amortization schedule for a 100K loan, 3% APR, for 4 years”. Or “text me the answer”.
Having to repeat myself several times with most communications, and similarly, not knowing if its processing, or has simply moved on by ignoring what I asked. It would be better to simply know its processing even if its super slow. Instead I grow frustrated because I have no idea, even giving up on it, and then a minute later it suddenly answers the question.
response images. I can’t uncross them, zoom them read them. I ask a lot of medical info and love the feedback but I would love to be able to see the charts and tables brought forth in the response. Unfortunatelly most are cropped or too small to read…
I hope subsequent updates have an option to update later instead of temporarily bricking the device. I was about to show a friend how I use the thing and because I needed to wait until I got home to do the update it was an opportunity lost.
After 2 weeks with the R1 I gotta admit that I like the little box even with its flaws, which are:
Can’t access my Apple Music bc “the Apple Music Rabbit is not available in your region” (which is bollocks since I’m in Germany)
Please connect the camera feed with Perplexity. This would improve image recognition and quality of answers a lot!
Localization: Metric system and Celsius should be there’s as an option, the main other languages as alternatives too.
Screen timeout and longer button press: If I want to ask a longer question, R1 turns itself off which is annoying. If it gives a longer answer, the screen goes dark and you miss part of the answer which is annoying too.
On a final note I really appreciate all the updates and the team’s efforts to deliver on their promises. The R1 deserves a better reputation and better reviews…
My only hardware-ish frustration thus far has been ‘shake to settings’. That bloody list shows up every time I take the R1 out of my pocket. Change it to: press, press, shake.
OH! And, in Terminal mode: the Backspace key should absolutely NOT be right above the Enter key. Do like Reel to Real did in '93 and Move It! Move It!
