20th February 2026 - we call this update fatrabbit
people of the rabbit community! yes, we mean @everyone - itâs time for an update to your r1, so get your charge cables ready to download. this one is so chunky that weâre running low on carrots.
weâve just shipped a combined over-the-air (OTA) update as well as a bunch of cloud fixes, so letâs get to readinâ and get to installinâ
whatâs new?
- DLAM shortcuts ![]()
shortcuts is a brand new feature inside DLAM that is a combination of memory and prompt injection, so DLAM can learn and remember complex workflows, trigger words and instructions. click the gear icon in the bottom left of the DLAM interface to set one up. when you create a new shortcut, youâll see input fields for name, description and body (instructions). so for example, you might set up a shortcut to let DLAM know you like to order 12 packs of diet coke from amazon, so that if you reference buying diet coke in the future, it knows to go to amazon, look for a 12 pack of diet coke, and add it to your basket (or even check it out!). there are all sorts of possible use cases for this, from running scripts, to typing out an extremely long workflow that you wouldnât want to have to explain every single time. weâre looking forward to seeing what you do with it!
- spotify, rapped ![]()
not only did we fix recent issues which caused spotify playback to fail, we made it way better too. now when youâre playing a song on spotify, youâll see live lyrics pop up on your homescreen, in time with the song thatâs playing, the primary rabbit will change to the music one with headphones, and itâll nod its head to the track!
what we updated:
-
we improved the latency on r1 queries to make it significantly faster! in internal testing, time to first response after asking your initial question has been improved on average between 20-30%, and in some queries, by as much as 50%! go ahead and ask a question to your r1 - you should notice itâs now significantly faster to reply.
-
DLAM session run times are now much longer, so youâre not limited to 60 minutes.
-
exporting all your magic camera photos from rabbithole is now more reliable, and you can also export all your photos at once.
-
we fixed an issue with OpenClaw where âheartbeatsâ (scheduled/system notifications from your OpenClaw instance) could cause the r1 to lock up in some cases, requiring a refresh or reboot.
-
weâve added six brand new creations from you, our wonderful community members, to the creations gallery both in the public tab on device and on our website. check them out, and donât forget that creations are now powered by opus 4.6, resulting in a much higher standard of creations that require less iterations.
enjoy and please keep sharing your feedback with us!
until next time,

6th February 2026 - as fast as a rabbit: intern/creations + dlam now running on claude opus 4.6
Summary
hey everyone - another day, and another great improvement to our agents.
Anthropic just dropped Claude Opus 4.6, their latest state of the art model, so we immediately plugged it straight into rabbit intern/creations and DLAM as part of our agentic stack.
for intern/creations, this means stronger long-context reasoning, better multi-step planning, and more dependable tool use. our initial intern and creations tests have shown improvements in reasoning, planning, design and first-pass output quality.
for DLAM, since Opus 4.6 shows major gains on computer-use benchmarks, you can expect more reliable navigation, fewer mis-clicks, better window handling, and stronger end-to-end task completion as this rolls through DLAM.
overall, this gives our agents more autonomy and stability on real work, whether thatâs generating, researching, or directly operating your computer.
here at rabbit, you can expect us to move fast, and keep our products and services in line with the latest advancements in AI. please give both intern/creations and DLAM a look, and let us know your results!

5th February 2026 - we just keep clawing away
Summary
hi everyone - thank you so much for all of your support following our epic release last week of DLAM, OpenClaw support on r1, and the tease of Project Cyberdeck.
itâs been an incredible week, and weâre truly awed to see all the love and usage of both DLAM and OpenClaw on r1, as well as all the excitement for Cyberdeck. Weâve done blog posts, press interviews, amazing audio chats on Discord and Twitter Spaces, and the best part? weâre only just getting started ![]()
in keeping up the pace with all these exciting changes, weâre happy to share that an OTA full of improvements is landing now to your r1 devices. This week, we focused on cleaning up some of the rough edges around the OpenClaw integration that we didnât manage to land in time for the initial release.
hereâs whatâs new for OpenClaw on r1: ![]()
- weâve added an option in the r1 settings to reset your OpenClaw connection (settings > device > openclaw reset)
- you can now swipe out of the OpenClaw screen to stop audio playback
- switching to OpenClaw now defaults to showing the home screen
- weâve fixed the screen flashing whilst waiting for openclaw gateway approval
- if thereâs a connection error to your gateway, weâll stop retrying it after a few attempts
- weâve removed a false positive on the âsecure connection requiredâ message
- weâre allowing user messages to queue up when agent is responding
- you can now swipe up from the OpenClaw home screen to access existing messages
- weâve renamed where it still said âMoltbotâ to âOpenClawâ
in addition to these OpenClaw fixesâŚ
- weâve fixed the text overlap on OTA release notes (this will apply from the next OTA after this one!)
- weâve prevented device reset before a countdown timer ends for a factory reset
thanks again, and be sure to keep sharing your feedback, and donât forget to sign up for early access updates on cyberdeck if you didnât already!
