Option to edit APN settings on R1

Hello,

I have a SIM card from simbase in my R1, but unfortunately this is not functional.
Simbase requires a configuration of the APN settings on the end device.
Unfortunately, the R1 does not offer this option.

During my research I have found other users in this forum who have problems with the cellular network because the APN is not set correctly automatically.

I would therefore be pleased if the APN settings were made available on the device in an upcoming software update.

APN Name
APN
MCC
MNC
APN Type
APN Protocol

Until we have the ability for manual editing, I can get support for the network you want to use added to the backend configuration.

@simon I have a “Jolt Mobile” data SIM card and would like to use it, if possible. However, it looks like it needs to have specific APN and MCC info. I bought it on Amazon, so there may be other users that purchase them as well. I followed the instructions for inserting the SIM after activating it, but my R1 doesn’t ever recognize it. I have the configuration info, if you can have it added. Thanks for your help, Michael

I have received an email that my settings were sent to the team, however it still does not work.

What I’m wondering is if/when APN setting timeframe would be added to for us users to modify the apn setting to get our data only sim cards to work in the rabbit.

Currently just using an android phone with the data only sim and tethering it WIFI to the Rabbit.
