I just inserted my SIM card into the Rabbit, but cannot find where/how to set the critical parameters - APN and MTU size. You did provide a Data Roaming switch.
I work for KORE Wireless and we sell a Global Roaming SIM (Super SIM) that allows me to take the Rabbit to ~190 countries and use ~400 different carrier networks, but it requires the use of our custom APN - “super” - and our MTU size needs to be 1360 bytes or less.
I can’t where/how to make these settings.
Here in the USA the SIM provides access to all three primary carriers - AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. On T-Mobile they honor the Diameter response list of APNs and my Rabbit works on T-Mobile, but on AT&T and Verizon the APN must be configured.
Thoughts?
It’s not user configurable, but we do have a rather large dataset of APNs pre-configured thanks to the folks at CipherOS.
If you drop the config here, we can try to get it added into the next OTA.
Hello,
That makes sense. Do you know the format of the entries for the SIMs?
In this case, it is a roaming multi-IMSI SIM and we usually lever the MCC/MNC/SPN to uniquely identify the appropriate APN. This is how it is done in Android.
If this is the case, then the values are:
| MCC |

The duplication of the entires is caused by a change of the SPN value when the Twilio business unit was purchased by KORE Wireless.
Let me know if there are further questions!
Thank you! I’ll keep testing!
