My r1 is officially down. Hope the next OTA fix things, done multiple reset with now luck. I just cannot get it online anymore.
While the Rabbit R1 has introduced exciting features like the Magic Vision Camera, which adds a fun twist to photos, I feel the focus should shift back to resolving basic issues.
The translation feature, when it works, is impressive, and I believe it would be great to see support for multiple languages in the future. However, the core functionalities need attention first.
The device still struggles with reminders, summaries and connectivity, making it frustrating to use. I should be able to simply ask, “What did I request yesterday?” or "Can you give me a summary of our meeting from this morning?” Unfortunately, it’s currently unable to provide these answers.
Instead of adding new integrations, I believe the team should prioritise fixing these essential features. As a consumer, I appreciate the innovation, but I hope they address these concerns soon. Otherwise I feel like this device will be redundant and not very useful.
Hi Rocket! I know we had a brief outage (measured in minutes, rather than hours) earlier today, so maybe that was causing the issue you’re describing.
For pulling up previously stored information, “recall” is the word you want to use. So “can you recall the information I told you before about xyz” - give it a go!
We’re definitely working on a lot of improvements for the other things you mentioned too.

I just done some testing and created a list of things to do and I got the following from my r1:“Based on the information in the journal, today there are no specific tasks that need to be done as per our previous conversations. If you have any new tasks or questions in mind, feel free to let me know, and I’ll be here to assist you.” then on my second attempt I was a bit more specific and asked:“to be done task wise for today? Film editing or things like that?” and this time it worked, here’s the feedback from my r1:"Based on the information in the journal, the tasks for today include:
Finish customer video with Q&A.
Start structuring the XYZ system (workflow, processes, and structure).
Record Propeller video from 123 and 789 with noise comparison.
