01/10/25 service downtime (now resolved)

Trying to link my R1. The OS2 update made things unstable for my device so I thought why not just do hard reset! Well, now I can’t activate my R1 device because Rabbit.Tech/Activate Isn’t working or am I missing something here? Thanks!

hole.rabbit.tech is actually down with error 504.

This is what I’m getting….

I too am getting the same error. Also, for some reason my R1 reset itself after I turned it off. Now I can’t reactivate?

at approximately 7am pacific time today, we became aware of a service disruption affecting both rabbithole and r1 devices, leaving r1 devices stuck on the “connecting” message. a small number of users have also reported that their devices have reset. we’re working to get this resolved as soon as possible.

additionally, if your device has reset, once service is restored you will be able to re-link r1 to your device in rabbithole. if necessary, you may need to click “unlink your device” in rabbithole, and then link it again from the QR code. all data in your rabbithole will be saved.

we appreciate your patience as we continue to investigate this, and we’ll keep you posted as soon as it has been resolved.

Unstable seems to be the new normal. Hopefully the rabbit hole comes back on line……

Remind me NOT to buy something that is dependent on the infrastructure of a startup organization.

Hi, i am new with my Rabbit r1. I procede to rabbit.tech/activate but i receive error:

When a solution for this problem?

This is quite annoying, but to be fair, this probably isn’t their fault. I assume it is the hosting company whose servers are down or malfunctioning. So they are doing the best they can. But it does beg the question of an r1 not relying on servers as much.

Same here in France, yesterday early afternoon, everything fine and the imossible to connect
