Takes up to several hours to turn on.

If I do NOT instruct the Rabbit to power down, its battery goes dead and I won’t be able to use it later in the day.

If I DO instruct Rabbit to power down, I cannot start it again. It displays a spinning rabbit wheel for as long as several hours before being able to use it.|

In other words, the Rabbit is useless unless you can keep it plugged in at all times.

If you have it up to date you have the option in the setting to turn it off. Have you tried it that way and is it faster at turning on than telling it verbally. I leave mine of for days and change it when it’s in need. So haven’t come across the starting problem also have you tried the free memor or memory clear press the button 5x quickly it should clear the true the shut down and start up at your leisure see if that helps

Neither of these things seems correct to me. You should be able to get a full day or more usage from a full charge, and when charging, it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to have enough charge to power on from an empty battery.

Could I suggest you try a different power cable / power brick for the charging issue? The one you are using may not be providing much power input.

And for the battery drain, could you let me know roughly how quickly it’s draining from a full charge? And if you’re using with a SIM card or only with WiFi?

Turning it off is easy enough. Turning it back on only to have the spinning rabbit wheel for hours is the problem.

it is fully charged. There is nothing wrong with the cable. I don’t really know how long it takes to discharge from full, but I do know that every time I wanted to use it, it was dead. The solution was to turn it off. Right now, the wheel has been spinning for 5 hours and it still didn’t come on yet. If it is updating, it should tell me what it is doing. It doesn’t tell me anything - just spins the rabbit wheel forever.

After 5 hours of spinning rabbit animation, it came on.
The software version is 20240626.7/0.8.107(134D93D)

Now I’m turning it off.
It came up again in just a minute.

But was the spinning rabbit for many hours thing a one-off? No, it has happened several times, making me afraid to turn it off and wanting to just leave it plugged in at all times so it is not dead when I want to use it.

It’s got same version of software as mine I am going for give it a try.
I have just tried mine turned it off by settings. Then gave it few seconds or so and turned it back on. I get. Rabbit text, then the r1 text moving round in a circle in centre of screen then it goes to rabbit normal screen total time to load from of 24sec approx
