Freezer sounds kind of nice right now (with temps where I live). My battery life has been pretty consistent and very good.

So I found out that the scroll wheel got like really stiff if it gets cold so I put it in the freezer and forgot about it.

Poor R1
I charged my rabbit fully and then did not use it the following day. The day after I tried to turn it on and it was completely dead. Two days ago again I charged it to full, turned it off and now today it is at 0%. Is this supposed to be like this? So far ive gotten about 40 minutes of use out of it which was the first day I opened it.

Mine has never lasted for more than 24 hours, when I havenāt touched it. Usually around 16. When it is used, i get about 2-3 hours. Itās horrific.

My standby battery is pretty good. With light usage it will last well over a day. With heavy usage is about a day. The update that improved the battery life really made a difference. Hopefully it can be improved further. Some insight into the battery usage from Jesse:
"the most battery consuming tasks are: 1. continuous music streaming. 2. camera 3. hour long voice recording sessions.
a good practice to increase battery performance is after you done listening music, five tap the ptt. otherwise the spotify is sitll standing by."

I canāt complain about battery life as Iāve been pretty happy with it. Multiple days of standby time or a full day of use.

This sounds like a faulty battery. Mine runs for over a day with standard use (I donāt use it for music), sometimes even 2 days.

Weird - maybe i got a bum battery. I put it in standby an hour ago at 89%, put it next to my router so that it wasnāt pulling too much energy for a wifi signal (which is strong everywhere, but obvs good next to the router) - and itās down to 80%. Wait, just looked, since i started typing this it went down to 79%. Glad yaāll are having a different experience than I am with batteries.
No complaints, really.
(tl;dr casual user uses casually and gets superb battery life)
Iād say I use it fairly infrequently throughout a standard day.
A few magic camera photos dispersed throughout when things catch my eye, a few queries about Excel / some accounting-related quandaries at work (very helpful in this regard), and maybe terminal mode for random questions that pop up.
At home, usage is a bit more experimental, just exploring the capabilities and features, etc. Some music listening. Testinā thangs, etc.
I charge it back to full from about the 15-20% range every other evening. The last few days, Iāve been turning it off when not in use for a few hours or at night. This, naturally, has made my charge to usage ratio negligible.
Additionally, these restarts seem to keep the R1 āfreshā, as in the longer I leave it on, the more frequent instances of āignoringā or hallucinations appear to be. However, this is speculative.

i left the house at 9am today at 100%, used it a bunch for magic cam pics while I was out, itās now 4pm and iām at 69% still.

Mine was fully charged at Midnight.
It only lost 6% during my sleep (1%/h), pretty decent I believe.
Currently at 34%. So I used 60% on 10 journal entries. Of those 10, 4 were magic cam and 2 vision entries.
I kind of was expecting closer to a two day charge. But I only have it since Monday, so still actively playing with it
Also, I think the Wifi is eating the most of my R1 Battery, as I quite often see āpoor connectionā. Might force the R1 to use my 2,5ghz wifi to see it that improves it.
Finally, I feel that a fix for the sensitive settings menu will also benefit the battery. Couple of times now that I pulled the R1 out of my pocket in the settings menu.

seems okā¦ Havenāt had it under 33%, charging it daily since I got it.

Today was quite an improvement over yesterday!
Currently 75% remaining, with a usage from 8am till 9pm. During again 10 entries and of those 7 were magic cam entries.
Will check how far Iāll get without an overnight charge.

Generally, itās pretty good these days. There are some wonky days when it will be dead in the morning even if I didnāt use it much at the end of the day prior, but then other days with more use it will still have plenty of charge by the time morning rolls around 
Overall though, way better now than it was early on, thatās for sure lol

Itās usually pretty good for me. Currently, Iām seeing about two days of battery with my usage
