I’ll try to record it next time it happens, but every once in a while I’ll ask it a question and it’ll tell me it’s searching for something pertaining to the thing I asked (example: searching for rabbit r1 update August 2024) and then it’ll repeat it over and over again. This conversation does not appear in the rabbit hole. It never resolves to give me the answer afterwards, and I have to do something else to get it to kind of shake out of that mode.
‘Searching for…’ (14 times) ‘Sorry I’m unable to complete the task’
It’s related to their new rabbit hole update where they pushed beta rabbit to standard rabbit. A number of users have reported it since so hopefully the team is aware and looking into it.
It’s the same here. So they are pushing something to the web so we don’t have to say beta rabbit anymore. That would be nice. That’s the first time I heard R1 repeat itself and get stuck in a look.
It searches all kinds of variations of the query.
Our team is investigating the looping issue and working on a fix as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Still stuck with this bug, I’m totally hopeless with this device
Same here over the past week. I’ve noticed that it’s mostly triggered by follow-up questions and when switching between beta and regular rabbit.
Mine was just doing it on regular asks, normally follow up questions, it worked with “Beta Rabbit” prompted inquiries till I asked about it in the discord and Simon advised a restart has helped some. Restart made it do it more, now asking it “beta rabbit” in the prompt does no good at all.
@rabbit Can we get some transparency on why it was happening when you have resolved it?
It seems like it tries to detemine relevant and improved search queries, and related information like images and locations based on the user request.
Are you going to fix this on the background by making its ‘thinking’ process more robust? Or make it not read out what it is doing and keep a form of the current system in place.

I really like the step by step approach but definitely not for every type of request.
-
Transparency on what it is doing or how it understood you is great but maybe for 1 or 2 replies.

It feels like the things it searches sometimes dilutie the original user request.
