r1 Interface Suggestions

I have been playing a bit with photos and have this suggestion:

Could it be considered that when you go into the r1 that you:

  • double click to get into photos
  • then use the scroll wheel to roll down to a few option:
  1. rabbit photo - original magic photo
  2. freestyle photo - push button to issue a request
  3. pixel photo - pixelate the photo you are taking - keeping the image accurate
  4. cartoon photo - cartoonise the image it is looking at - keeping the image accurate
  5. outline photo - create vector outlines of the image - state the part you would like outlined, eg in my post above - take a photo of the life guard tower and outline in vector and send to me (email address).

Just thought for the those that like art / photography that you have a bit more control of the resulting image

You could also have a setting that the r1 takes 3-5 photos of the selected style

Next suggestion relating to taking “Freestyle Magic Photos”

I have noticed that it won’t work when the unit can not get mobile tower connection.

Can you please add a bar graph in a top corner to show the strength of connection as there is no point using the r1 when there are no bars - can get frustrating talking into it and then nothing happens

Data Usage

Can you either detail on the r1 or in the Rabbithole the data usage of your plan - maybe a place to add in the rabbit hole the plan started on a data and the amount of data for how long - for a smart device you are using it blind not knowing when things run out

I like your ideas.

I think this adds far too much clutter.

The last three options are just filters which are in my opinion not completely necessary. Then the first two options are already accessible through just pressing ptt once for regular magic cam photo and prompting it for freestyle.

in my opinion adding unnecessary menus and selection screens is a terrible idea as sifting through selection screens is what this product is meant to oppose.

I have used the r1 one to ask where am I and it is very accurate and then I ask to show me a map image of where I am and says it can’t.

To show a mag image would be handy when travelling with this device.
