I have for a long time frequently asked my rabbit to respond in my native language Swedish.
It responds in perfect Swedish with a slight American accent.
Just recently the accent has changed and it now sounds like an American who just tries to read Swedish without knowing anything about the Swedish language or pronunciation.
What have you changed and why?

we don’t officially support languages outside of English (yet), and so I don’t think this was on anyone’s radar when we started testing out a new TTS model to make response time faster.

I had the same problem with german. Now that I’ve set a costum voice in the settings the pronunciation is flawless again

Which is the prompt you have set in the rabbithole please? I would love to have it in italian just to check!
I’ve created the prompt for the costum voice using ChatGPT and it’s in german. So that won’t work for you.
It works fine now and since the last update it speaks in perfect swedish. Amazing.

I believe the elevenlabs voice just recognizes languages
