Heres an idea: what about a clock mode.
When in the case, and plugged in, it would be nice if the screen stay on to diyplay the time.
1- I could see the time at night when waking up
2- at the office, it would look nice on my desk
3- when alarms and reminders will be available, this would make it a nice alarm clock.

yea someone claimed to have a way to get the timer feature to show up, but when I tried it, it refused
Maybe it should be carrots counting down 
We have not yet launched the timer feature, but a bug caused it to display for a few users, which is now being fixed.
Its not a bug, it was a feature
