I tried to turn the camera and it went half way and stopped. Now when I turn the wheel the camera does not move but the image flips. If I put the unit right up to my ear when doing this I can hear the motor trying to turn the camera but it does not move. Sent a few support requests but have not heard a peep.
did you have any rattling prior the camera issue. There is a known issue where 2 screw posts snap which hold the camera pivot mechanism in the last 1-2 battles of R1’s and if one of those screws breaks it can affect the camera or can get jammed up.

No it’s not a physical issue. I did a reset of the device and I saw the camera move. It was still pointing downward but now towards the front. Turning the wheel did nothing. I couldn’t even activate it because the camera would not see the QR code. Then I did the 8 click reset and voila the camera returned to normal operation and it’s working again for now. The fact that turning the wheel only moves the camera when it’s in camera mode shows that there is software involved as it decides whether to move the camera or not.
