Hi there, I get the problem that most of the time the camera is not rotated properly. It got stuck in the middle and the shown picture is half orange and half a correct one. I then have to switch it several times until it rotates to the correct position. But also afterwards at the next rotation it does not find the correct position. It is more luck to get the camera to a proper position
Hi @Silence66 - oh dear, that doesn’t sound normal. Have you tried rebooting the device (hold down the button for 60 seconds and let go to reboot)?
If you’ve tried that, could I ask you to forward this information to support@rabbit.tech? It sounds like there may be a misalignment with the camera hardware on your unit, in which case we may need to swap it out and send you another one under the warranty.

Oh yep rebooted it several times, every time I got the same errors. I will send an email to the support then
This might be a bit weird but I found out the hard way that the camera would eventually straighten out in the correct orientation if you keep entering and exiting out of the camera about 5 to 10 times to get it to align properly. It worked on mine when it was acting up trying to get my QR code scanned to activate once before. Sometimes the stepper motor controlling the camera has a mind of its own sometimes!
Yep same here but 9 out of 10 it went to the wrong position and I have to do it several times until it is in the correct one. It also started at the activation with the QR code, it was nearly impossible to scan it correctly
Mh ask the support, just answered me once with a default answer (have u tried switchnit off and on again) and then nothing. Any help?
This just happened to me yesterday. It won’t center itself, I even tried opening and closing the camera a few times.
In opened a ticket but still waiting for any response…just got a reply that they will come back to me, but nothing happens… annoying
