What are everyone’s hobbies?

For me, it’s mainly 3D printing & modeling, laser engraving and cutting. I also have a relatively small collection of radioactive material along with a few geiger counters.

I have a FFCP and a xTool S1

I have a few hobbies to keep me busy, I’m getting back into 3D printing after a few years break from it, printers are way better now. For my artistic outlet i just recently got into rug tufting and currently working on a ninja turtle rug for my grandson. I dabble with my 30w fiber laser and was making leather patch hats until it became a job, and i also do sublimation tumblers.

Having many adventures in crafts from jewelry, wood carving, pottery, and furnace glass, to 3D illustration which eventually led to Second Life and other grids. With increasing disability, I went for robots with lasers and got a Glowforge to make smaller wood projects.

Taking photos with the rabbit has become one, most things are posted here: x.com I also have a side X channel for D&D hooks and images to use for campaigns, the rabbit helped creating some bosses for it! and a couple of stories read on youtube and spotify and also amazon kindle!

Using AI tools like chatgpt, perplexity, dalle, rabbit has been such a blessing for a person like me, with ideas but no artistic skills lol so many things to try and explore! I can’t wait for something that makes video properly, I wish rabbit could do magic videos too eheh that’d be a whole new level!

I’m a yoga enthusiast but also love a good immersive MMORPG. Right now, living in Arizona, I’m just trying to stay out of the heat! I’m also just starting to investigate LoRA and Meshtastic technologies.

Nice. Editing videos was harder than I thought when I first started, but once you get used to a program using CapCut, I’m not into what you’re doing on YouTube. Can I ask what you’re doing on YouTube with Photograpy?

That’s my passion. I have a fair amount of money in gear for a home studio, but with limited space, I can only do headshots. I charge about $350 for headshots, wish I could find more actors in Chicago, also unemployed and 70 years old wish I would have worked on creating a business years ago, hard for me to get started. Does YouTube pay some bills for you?

I’m 70 and need to build some muscle. Everything hurts at this age. How would Yoga be for someone who’s out of shape and 70? I heard it causes the most pain you will ever have standing up, lol.

While many people associate yoga primarily with “stretching,” it also incorporates strength-building through body-weight exercises. In fact, yoga is a harmonious blend of strength and flexibility, both of which are essential for your body. Engaging in physical movement at any age promotes the circulation of fresh, oxygen-rich blood to your joints and muscles, aiding in the healing process. Although I’m not a medical professional, I can share that, as someone who has practiced yoga for about 23 years and is not far behind you in age, I still experience some aches and pains. It’s important to distinguish between “bad” pain from injuries and the muscle soreness that can result from movement, exercise, stretching, or weight training—I personally prefer the latter.

I encourage you to try an “all-levels” yoga class, where instructors offer modifications to accommodate participants with varying abilities or injuries. Additionally, yoga can provide valuable mental balance, helping to alleviate work-related stress and anxiety. I hope you find this information helpful and consider giving yoga a try!
