It would be nice to have the tools to export games to this device or to explore the possibilities for gaming, particularly on this device. Something in AR like Pokémon Go, escape rooms, interactive stories, or even a rogue-like game with AI narration could be interesting to experiment with, given at least minimal support for exporting from Unity or any other game engine.
Of course, this should be on official firmware with access via a prompt like “Any game to play?” I mean without any cool hacker tricks, like installing strange lineage firmware for smartphones on a device like the R1 with its two buttons.
So anyone who wants to play can develope a game for Rabbit device
That is a cool thought but I’m not too sure the R1 could handle most of the games you would want to play on it Also it has one button, a scroll wheel , and a relatively small screen so that would probably limit a-lot of your options game wise.
It could be interesting challenge to make a decent experience considering this costraints. Immagine RPG/MMORG like Heroes with voice controls and AI-driven dialogues, or quests like Monkey Island or some paranormal activity scanner or even something inspired from REC movie
There are definitely a fair amount of games that could be ported to the R1 if we went that route, I just want to make sure expectations are set since Im sure we will see once person asking to play COD on it or something lol.
I understand what do u mean.
On R1 it will be a unique experience. Think about CardBoard games from Nintendo Switch. They invented to decompose and transform that console in mixed gaming experience. Same thing here. The gaming process could be reinvented
