I don’t know if other users have noticed this behavior, but depending on how you position the Rabbit Eye (front or back), at least for me it suddenly starts rotating by itself because the scroll wheel may be on a trigger point and this, without touching it (probably a threshold that is exceeded), leads to the Rabbit Eye rotating inadvertently.
I can’t suggest a possible solution to the problem right now because I don’t know exactly how the scroll wheel is technically constructed and I don’t want to take my r1 apart for it.
So I simply suggest creating an option in the settings so that you can deactivate the scroll wheel in connection with the Rabbit Eye and instead enable the Rabbit Eye to rotate by tapping the screen and/or using your voice.
I have noticed similar on one of my units, but not the other one. So it’s hard to tell exactly how widespread it is. But one unit is definitely noticeably more sensitive than the other.
It happened to me too yesterday that the rabbit eye got stuck looking at me at idle state when taking too many of magic pics… Fortunately it went back to normality (And some of the pics were lost unfortunately)
Data loss is always bad, it’s a big problem, I’ve already made suggestions on how to prevent it, unfortunately it hasn’t been properly implemented yet. It would have to be prevented that you can make any kind of request via r1 before it is ensured that a secure connection to the rabbit hole exists or everything would have to be cached beforehand. I really mean everything.
