"Show me" - Shopping list

Whilst in the middle of the supermarket the other day and I had to get it to tell me the shopping list about 10 times as it would only show the first couple of items and spoke the list out but was obviously not practical whilst walking down each isle.

People were finding it strange that it was repeating over and over again as they were bumping into me in random isles.

“Show me my shopping list” have it display and then let me scroll through it would have been much better.

Maybe even be able to tick them off after I have got the item and move them to the bottom of the list, this way you can see which you still have to get.

Great one!
I am using Google keep as my shopping list, looking forward to a possible integration…

Interesting feedback, I just took deliver today of the r1. Setup was as smooth as butter following the prompts on the r1 screen to connecting to the home WiFi, downloading the available update and inserting the sim… .

I can see challenges such as your issues with the shopping list, I agree with your suggestions, it really needs the functionality you are suggesting for it to be a valuable user function.

I wonder if its user prompting error, ie make me a shopping list itemised by number and give me the ability to mark each item as being checked off??
I don’t know, but it seems prompting is crucial in achieving the desired outcome.

10/10 for taking the r1 shopping  P.s I will work on the shopping list, if I have any success I’ll be sure to let you know

Nearly got there lol initially showed me the full list, allows me to strike off bought items.

But I cannot get the r1 to show me the revised shopping list, will only read out remaining items
Bummer lol

I’d imagine a solution to this will come once we get services like notion integrated, or once the public gets teach mode. AFAIK note taking/time management services usually have to-do lists or some type of list builder. I doubt the team would build a custom feature for this if getting LaM working on a different service could do the job just as good if not better.

:point_right: :point_left: notion integration when?
