Timer, alarm and reminders will be great simpel features too implement.

Hi, yes. some “simple”, very basic features, that would be helpful to the average person using their r1 instead of a smartphone, eg.
- set named reminders for a duration or a specific time
- add to a named list of items, show or read back list on demand
- remember a location
- send a short email to a shortlist of recipients
- a connection to an actual email or messaging provider
