Everything is getting saved to rabbithole as expected except audio recordings (the useful feature I most use).
Also, I’m pretty certain r1 hasn’t had an update in over 2 weeks.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Go ahead and give these a read.
Mate, while we are told updates occurred, we Rabbit r1 device owners
have no way of knowing that any software updates have taken place
on our Rabbit r1 devices.
Just go to your smartphone in ABOUT: …You’ll see all the information about
The latest updates, dates & module numbers that has taken place.
Pluss in Smartphones we get the option to download any updates that may not be
on your Smartphones yet.
Not our Rabbit r1. …We wonder? Has an update taken place on our little Orange device🤔
It shouldn’t be that difficult for our Teenage Engineering team …
To accomplish this task?
Good luck mate, I feel your frustrations
Cheers…RickRabbit
Hey, bud. In my experience, and based on what others have reported, I don’t think you can use the device at all until any and all available hardware updates are installed. If it was possible to mix client and server update versions, they wouldn’t give us that un-delayable, un-cancelable client update screen in the first place. From a practical point of view, if you’re using your r1, then friend, it follows that you’ve got any and all updates.
What might be interesting to know is if the updates can be installed in the background without interaction from users. I hope not, because it’s nice reading the release notes while it’s installing so you know what goodies are in there.
I just used one today for a 1 hour meeting and it worked really well. Sorry to see it did not work for you.
I really enjoyed using the meeting recording option. I am going to do more of that.
Thank you mate, for your reply.
You are correct.

I have had shorter recordings, similar to an hour, that worked fine. Today I recorded a 2-hour meeting and it did not save… Is there and issue with longer recordings?
So the thing with the update is in the nature of the type of update, there are updates that happen in the cloud, we users usually don’t notice them if everything goes well, except that something works better from now on, then there are the updates where the request to connect a power source appears on the r1, these updates either only affect the r1 device itself or/and the cloud and therefore cannot be postponed. However, they can be viewed in the r1 settings, at least that is the case for the device updates.
The problem discussed here could also be due to an interrupted internet connection if the recordings are not completely cached localy on r1 before they are loaded into the Rabbit Hole or in case of an timeout problem, but this is only a guess and only a person responsible at @rabbit can answer this question correctly.
Thank you Leahcim for your reply.
Kind Regards … RickRabbit
G’day colleauges. I have had a successful recording and prescription performed. However, I want to download the audio file to share it with a colleague. A wave file of 368 bytes is all that downloads. Additionally, the time displayed in the “in hole” display only shows one third of the length of the time that was transcribed.
As such,
It sounds like the file couldn’t be saved completely and crashed relatively early on.
But the full text transcript is there… this is what confuses me.
It is like the full process for transcription (the last step) has succeeded, but the provision of the requisite files to achieve that is not working.
Any ideas?
No, but that’s why we have this point here.
