Jesse has stated before that r1 is a device, but not the device. The overall idea of Rabbit Inc’s products will likely be very similar, but with different form factors for different use cases. The r1 may not be the first generation of the r-series of devices, but rather, the first generation of the r1-series of devices. r1 (2nd gen) may exist, with a completely separate r2 (1st gen) device being in perhaps a watch or ring form factor.
I see the following devices as possibilities:
r1 Series: Handheld mini square personal computer form factor. Designed for desktop and office support.
r2 Series: Wearable watch form factor. Designed for outdoor use and tracking user biometrics
r3 Series: Wearable ring form factor. Designed for inter-device connectivity for smart home control, bluetooth routing, and networking.
r4 Series: On-eye contact wafer form factor. Designed for indoor and outdoor AR workflows, and similar to the r1 series in operation.
edit: as seen directly below me with “thing 1”, perhaps the r2 will be the second generation of the r-series, and t-1 will be the death of us all first generation of the t-series (thing series) instead of the r-series (rabbit series).
