Hey, so Diego Here.
It’s been a few weeks with the device and so far love the community, the product and the roadmap. I was scared the device was a scam but the only scam I found were those clickbait videos that prevented me from try it out.
Anyhow, I’m giving away a Rabbit R1 to my grandmother. She barely speaks English but lives in Canada. I believe the feature of translation + the ability to set the device language to Spanish, will make this product the next tool to help them community and free of limitations.
So I was thinking, rabbit is great, but what is great it’s even greater when is shared with friends and family.
And this brings me to the idea.
What if we could think of some sort of Messenger, that allows me to say like “hey rabbit message ____ with _____”. And then the device gets a notification just as the ones we get when there is a software update.
To say, you have received a new messages. so the user can click it and began be read outloud.
The ide would be talking like a walkietokie where I send a message but is not real time, instead, cache answer via text.
This would bring to other level the interaction. What if I had users from japan? Or from Italy?
I could effortlessly send a message in my native language and they could answer in his. And we could have a tangible communication without having to actually know a new languages.
This could be an idea with the potential to improve human communication but also reduce the barriers we face today.
Idk. Would anyone use this? I think rabbit is amazing and just wonder if something like this could be considered.
