I believe some experienced this already. I plugged my R1 in its usual recharge cable, started charging then suddenly the camera went into a loop of resetting / turning for a while. I tried different cables, power outlets, etc. no change.
My R1 do no charge since since. It stays off. Cannot start it.
There is a hidden rest button if you want to try it. (Be warned it will reset the R1 to factory settings it’s entirely up to you it may fix the problem I am not responsible for loss of data etc). On the side of the R1 is a sim slot take the sim tray out and look inside the R1, in the hole you will see a black button use something none metal and press hold the button for few seconds then let go. Try restarting the R1 and or try charging. You could also try before this another charger cable. Most usb C will work. And try a different charger brick and socket. It could be a corrupt system and or battery gone bad. Once it’s working just do the setup etc your account will still be on the rabbit hole and so should be the serial number of the R1. The system should pick it up and hopefully return it to as it was before reset but working. The other thing to try is plug the R1 into a pc and see if it’s being seen. You can try all the above before reset
