Is magic camera NOT the killer feature of the r1? At least for now? Is there another feature more people are using more often/having more fun with? I think it’s the current killer feature, I think magic cam is currently the most unique thing about rabbit os, and therefore I think it’s only logical to highlight it. Optimize it, give it all the common features (like displaying the pics we take). Once we get this feature I’m pretty sure I’ll be adequately satisfied with the r1, any other updates would just be gravy…but without magic pics I can’t deny the device is unfinished, lacking common features, and having to use a phone to look at the pics kinda defeats some of the point…why not just use the AI apps in my phone if Ive already got it out?
Kinda sorry for being repetitive but this is my top request, and I didn’t assume it would take as long as it has. Sounds like displaying magic pics won’t happen until we get local storage. Which is logical but also seem unnecessary, couldn’t it just show a pic for sec like midjourney
I know what you mean. But: It’s a bit like photographing with film. You get the result later. This used to create anticipation and works here as well. With 2024 AI tools. Absurd and beautiful it is.
People keep saying that, that having to wait is nostalgic and it’s like the pic is being developed…but that’s not the point. I’m not asking for the pics to load instantly, just for the pics to be viewable on the device that takes them. There’s every reason for it to work like that, and almost no reason not to. One could argue the r1s screen is pretty small and/or that we all want the photos to be in our phones sooner or later, but that doesn’t mean we shouldnt at least get a little preview of the pic on the r1.
Being able to have a library of images and audio (and r1 responses) on the R1 itself would also be really nice. I use my devices to collect data throughout my day and i wish i could browse through it on the R1 itself.
“Feature” lol. Really it’s just the expected functionality of literally any and every camera, or other picture taking device, that’s ever had an attached, high resolution, screen.
