Currently, there exists an intriguing backend connection between my R1, iPhone, and AirPods. I am curious to know if this connection can be further refined in the future.
When my R1 is connected to my iPhone via hotspot, I have observed that whenever I listen to music on my AirPods and begin speaking to my R1, the music momentarily pauses as I engage in the conversation. However, as soon as I release the button and the R1 responds, the music resumes as the R1 begins to analyze my request. To hear the response, I am forced to manually pause my music. This behavior seems somewhat peculiar, as while the pause in the music serves as an indication that the R1 is actively listening, it is inconvenient to have to pause my music in order to hear the response.
In the future, I would love to have the ability to directly customize the settings on the R1 to control the audio pause on connected devices. Specifically, I would like to have the option to pause the audio:
- while I am speaking to the R1
- while the R1 is processing the request
- when the R1 provides a response
Additionally, I hope there will eventually be an option to enable a direct connection between my AirPods and my R1, allowing responses to be transmitted directly to my AirPods. Once the R1 has concluded providing its response, I would like to resume the audio from my iPhone.
In the future, are these features something that could be integrated R1? Thank you for taking the time to read my request!
