We would like to be able to join hotspot on network and not just WiFi connections.
When I am in the car I want my Rabbit to be able to connect to the Internet using the hotspot of my phone. This way I do not need to have a separate SIM card for the Rabbit

It does connect to hotspots but at the moment the iPhone hotspot seems to drop from time to time android doesn’t seem to have a problem. The r1 will connect to WiFi hotspot but not via Bluetooth. See other parts of this site has information about hotspots and WiFi connections people have asked

Ok it seems it can connect to the iPhone hotspot but on your iPhone you have to not only turn on the hotspot but also select an option on that screen called “maximize compatability”, then that hotspot will show up on the rabbit R1
