Any Australian rabbit users here? Wondering how your experience has been?
I have been enjoying for the past few days and loving the note taking, magic camera, meeting assistant, translation, beta rabbit and complex conversations etc.

I have been enjoying for the past few days and loving the note taking, magic camera, meeting assistant, translation, beta rabbit and complex conversations etc.
I’m an Australian user, but not in Australia. do you find some issues with the rabbits accent understanding? (Melb city accent)
Agree, same here. It struggles with some of the words and then the results are very different. However, for some reason the translator works well.
I imagine European English speakers having similar issues, hopefully they fix and we don’t all have to speak hamburger hotdog…
I live in Sydney, and have not found a use case above my old Google Nest capability as yet. Needs more development due to slow or repetitive responses it provides compared to basic Google results IMO.
I’m happy taking it for what it is at this point. Me and my kid are having fun with the magic cam, and the question answering is fine.
That’s surprising. I have had 60% fantastic responses and some dud ones and a few accet issues. I am enjoying for now and finding good use cases (magic cam for fun, meeting notes, daily notes to recollect the day, complex conversations on ideas while walking or driving
Yes agree…the pace at which they are going and seeing how the translator works, I am confident of them improving.
Compare with any smartphone, Android/IOS with the r1 for any detailed question, how happy are you with the responses given?
That’s a broad question. For some complex queries in business concepts or book summaries it and done well.
If I say ask Perplexity it does a good and quick job. Not even google comes close.
Sometimes it does a poor job or stops talking on between. May be a different AI model was used? And it’s annoying when it stops speaking in the middle of the response.
In general, it’s actually pretty good.
LOL, ask it to tell you a joke you have not been told before for the next 3 days…you will see ;>)
I find for some Australian sports it gives a dated image, the correct day but UTC time. The image may be an issue of the website being used, but the time i would expect in my local time
It ain’t there yet, what are other peoples benchmark to prove improvement, mine is literately a new joke for today?
