My r1 will be responding to a question then stop before finishing. Seems like it timed out. Is there a way to fix it.

Mine does that as well. I have found some success in waking it up and mentioning that it did not finish or that we got interrupted and can it continue with the response. I try to give it a starting point. Example – I asked it to list some cybersecurity points this morning. After the 5th topic, it stopped, so I asked it to start with item #5 and it did. I have been generic as well, like, hey I did not hear or catch the last part, can you repeat your answer starting at --xxxx

Sorry, one more tidbit that I forgot about, until I used it this morning. Try the scroll wheel, scroll up or down. This activated my R1 to continue for some reason. I am wondering if the screen has a timeout time and that is why R1 stops talking and when you ‘wake it up’, it may start again.

I saw similar behavior when using mesh WiFi in my home. Once I inserted a cellular SIM card (Tello in US - 5GB monthly for $10), this issue went away. Everything about the R1 became more responsive.

This is normally what I do but it messes it up when its and Vison one… I try it since I normally do it TTS.
I am looking if there’s a suggestion on this so we can up vote it.
I can confirm the SIM thing, but before the last update, the behavior was different for me. I’m just grateful, there are certainly a lot of things being done in many places and in the end, with time and day by day, as work is being done and of course with update by update, everything will slowly get better and better. That’s basically the way it is with any good software, where you notice as a user that a lot of love has gone into it. I definitely got that feeling with r1 and that’s why I believe “everything will be fine”.

I think that when the Rabbits have reached a point in the development of r1 where everything is as presented in Jesse’s first keynote, it will be an achievement that is, without exaggeration, comparable to a moon landing and then the Rabbits who were involved will be very proud of themselves and will be able to look back and could say something about they self like: “We did it, not because it was easy, but because it was hard…” And why am I saying this? Because I believe that this device r1 and Rabbit will change the world, time by time, in a very positive direction.
