Terminal mode - What is it used for?

Hi all,
Just got my R1, so still new to it.
Can anyone tell me what is “terminal mode” used for? ie: What functionality does it provide when you switch it on?

Hi @Treva ,

welcome here on board.:slightly_smiling_face:
The terminal mode gives you the possibility to have a keyboard function to enter your prompts.

By activating this function you can rotate 90 degrees your rabbit r1 to show up a keyboard on your display.

Could bei useful if you do not want to talk with your rabbit r1 or to specify some prompts.

If you think about it, the “terminal mode” makes the r1 usable for people who are deaf or mute.

I could be wrong, but without it available, this device would be utterly useless to those communities. Pretty cool, huh?

Not only is it useful for this category of people but also when you don’t want to / can not talk, regarding your environment. I find it pretty useful. But you can not generate any image from Midjourney using terminal and that is weird.
