Teach mode question

Someone please educate me… I’ve had this thought for a while but not sure if I have my facts right or maybe I’m missing something.
What I think I know… During discussions, someone was asking when other services were going to be added. I believe I recall Jesse saying that the hard or time consuming part was designing \ developing the UI\UX for the the r1 for each of the services. To support this, it seems like a huge undertaking to improve the already existing music experience.

What that makes me think… If this is the case then how will teach mode ever come to be? One thing is training the system to take the actions we want it to on a website. But it is quite another if for each thing we train it to do, then a rabbit UI has to be developed for it. To support this statement and continue with the previous example, if the music UI is already designed (Spotify) then why couldn’t all the music services be added now?

What am I missing?

So my understanding is that it’s both designing the UI and then hooking in the service support (ie Apple Music) into the same UI, and building out the UI to be consistent with all the intricacies of each service.

As far as Teach Mode, I think there’s multiple parts. There’s the part whereby a voice action does the thing that you want it to do on another system, and then there’s the part where any relevant information comes back to the r1 (if required).

We’ll be sharing more on this over time!

Looking forward to more info. Still not clear to me. But that’s no surprise, my wife says I’m thick headed.
