Spelling - r1 is mocking me or having a stroke

Ok so r1 made up a plant for me, a biotechnology sci-fi thing called “Novafern”.

I asked it to use that name and build more information around it. It absolutely cannot spell it correctly, it’s crazy (almost hilarious, I’m seriously wondering if it’s making fun of me  ). Here are the interactions after it spelled it “Novathurn”:

me: The correct spelling is Novafern, n o v a f e r n, can you change it?

r1: The correct spelling of the plant is Novafirn

me: No, can you spell it out loud so I can correct you?

r1: N - O - V - A - F - E - R - N. Novafirn.

me: So you spell it out loud correctly, but you don’t write it correctly. What is the problem?

r1: I apologize for the oversight. The correct spelling of the plant is Novafirn. Thank you for your patience.

me: Nope. It’s Novafern. F e r n.

r1: Thank you for the correction. The correct spelling of the plant is Nova Thorne Fern.

[it went on for ages, I ended up asking beta rabbit]

me: It’s Novafern

betta rabbit: The correct spelling of the plant is Nova Fern.

me: Yes, but in one word.

betta rabbit: The correct spelling of the plant to ‘NovaFern’ as one word.

me: Yes, but only the N is capitalised, not the F.

betta rabbit: I corrected the plant name to NovaFern with only the first letter capitalized

 It’s super funny, thanks for that! @Munchkinslife But I think that’s less of an r1 or Rabbit problem than a ChatGPT problem.

Have you tried this with Beta Rabbit? @Munchkinslife

Well, what surprised me is that I asked it for recall the name from the previous note. And it’s the one that came up with the name.

Yes, it’s mentioned in the dialog  Slightly better but it definitely struggles with the fine tuning – but I was told that that typically expected.

Sorry, I had unfortunately overlooked that.

I have the same issue with it when I try to correct its spelling errors. It is crucial to fix these errors, especially with regards to names, addresses, etc.

I Also tried to provide an Unconventional name (it was a small company name) and it was not able to understand it.

I think it would be great if spelling things out would just work.
