I am quite often finding myself regularly checking websites, … for different things (example, not real: check Amazon whether there is a current offer for a nice ebook reader, fulfilling the following criteria; I also saw that people used OpenAI’s operator to check for jobs, etc.).
For that, I think LAM playground, or at least teachmode probably already offer the needed functionality.
So it would be super helpful if I could ask them to regularly (once a day, …) check things, and then, if the criteria are met (found the ebook reader on sale), send me a notification.
Maybe even perform an action for me (apply for the job if it’s found / order the ebook reader), although that is a bit more of a stretch and maybe can come in a later step.
If there was some API access to rabbit’s services (as suggested in Rabbit R1 API Access), this could also be done by myself, although probably some built in solution is preferable for end users.
@simon@mattdomko there is a fair chance that this is even already on your radar. But if not, can you look into this?
It’s definitely on our radar… I was thinking something along the lines of “Reminders can just be for the AI… and those reminders can trigger teach mode tasks”
Nice to hear. A bit like that, yes! If the setup allows users to perform the said tasks, it will be very nice (and I, as a user don’t really care that much how exactly, as long as my said tasks can be fulfilled)!
Also, something like “have a look about news on Nvidia, and send me some notification when they have problems”, so then one can buy stock, or similar stuff might be fun! Not really my interest point, but I have seen discussions about the Nvidia stock downfall on the rabbit Discord, and then such a system could be nice for deciding when is a good point to get in.
Yeah, definitely a +1 vote for me. An AI device with reminders and playground/teachmode kinda scream this sort of automation, I think it has a lot of potential. Would be nice not to have to manually ask it each time to do the things I would ask it do to all the time. Glad it sounds like its on the radar already.
