@simon , I’m thinking about building another R1 app, but before I invest time into it, I’d like to confirm something about how R1 creations handle saved data.
Years ago, I stopped using password managers like LastPass, 1Password, etc. Instead, I keep a physical notebook at home with my passwords written down. It’s definitely less convenient, but after seeing password managers get breached, I’ve been hesitant to store all of my passwords in a cloud-based service.
My understanding is that data saved within R1 apps is stored locally on the device and is not uploaded to an external server.
Is that correct?
If so, I’m considering building a simple password manager for the R1. I have some ideas for how it could work, but before going any further, I want to make sure that any passwords saved in the app would remain local to the device and only be accessible to someone physically holding the R1.
