Perplexity Redeem code does not work

Hi there, just got my R1 a few days ago and loving it!
I waited till I got my R1 before trying to redeem my $200 credit for Perplexity Pro, but now when I try to click on Redeem now within the email, it just says “internal server error”

Can someone help me?

I got the same problem and made it manual. I don’t remember exactly, but open the perplexity link witout your code to first load the website … You should be able to manage it. After all you have to do those steps: that’s what perplexity says:

(sorry, it’s german … I use multiple languages and the answers (from all AI I use are sometimes like randomized)

Wait, there’s a redeem code? I just assumed it was automatic. I was in batch 6 and got no such code. Who do I complain to?

Where did you get the redeem code? I just got my R1 a few days ago. No redeem code in the box or my email.

It didn’t come with the R1. It was an email I received as one of the first 100,000 buyers. It included a $200 credit for Perplexity Pro.

The link in the email doesn’t work. I emailed Perplexity and they are helping me with it.

Maybe check your spam folder? I got the email when I bought mine. Batch 6 as well.

Guys, send an email to perplexity support instead. They sorted me out. You will need the email you received from Rabbit about the redeem code.

Guys I solved with 4 simple steps:

  • Create a Perplexity account with the same email you ordered your R1, and login
  • Open the email you received and click on the “redeem $200 credit” button

  • You will be redirected on the Perplexity page and a light blue banner appear on top. Click on it
  • Subscribe the annual Pro plan, on the left you can see your discount 12 months at $0 per month, on the right you have to fill the form with your credit card details.

Submit and BOOM, you have your Perplexity Pro plan active.

Ah cool! Don’t know why, but when I tried that even after setting up an account, it kept saying internal server error. :sweat_smile:

Support at Perplexity did help me out pretty quickly though and gave me a new link.

How do I know Rabbit is using perplexity?

To be honest, I’m not sure. But I have tried asking the Rabbit to use Perplexity and it replied saying it would ask Perplexity AI. However as we can’t sign into Perplexity Pro on the Rabbit hole, I doubt it is utilising the Pro account advantages. Beta Rabbit may be the better option for now.
