Using LAM Playground web version is fine, but using the R1 to access LAM Playground R1 is a hit or miss for me, and usually a miss. It mostly says it is unable to directly access websites or gmail.
Is there a magic phrase / specific wording that can be used to force the R1 to use LAM Playground?
It would make it more reliable to have a trigger word like we had with ‘beta rabbit’… something like ‘use playground’ at least as long as the system is not reliable.
I wonder how we can make the system more robust with its tool triage tho. Because it’s also great to not have to use trigger words and phrases ofcourse.
Both give the same response:
I’m unable to assist with accessing Gmail or creating emails directly. For security and privacy reasons, it’s best to handle such tasks directly through your browser. If you have any other questions or need assistance with something else, feel free to ask!
It would be helpful to have some way of directing LAM Playground. I have currently no idea how to use LAM Playground to gmail using voice control (the R1)…
I was just about to make a post about this… Many hallucinations occur while trying to use LAM playground. wish we just could use a keyword and it would force start and try to complete the request. (that is the power of AI, being flexible and just trying to be as helpful as possible) It seems like the R1 does not know it’s own tools and abilities very well or well enough.
I understand it is a complicated problem that is probably being worked on.
It definitely depends on particular phrasing for LAM playground in particular, still a lot of work to be done on improving the triage, but I’ve always used the phrase 'Navigate to…'so there’s no confusion as to what it needs to do.
Just compared a few phrases a few times each because I was pretty curious how well these all work when actually going head to head, and had it go to my gmail and summarize my latest email:
‘Navigate to’ worked 3/3 times
‘Browse’ got confused each time, for a 0/3
‘Go to’ also worked 3/3
So I guess stay away from Browse atm, however ‘go to’ should work more consistently, so I’m surprised its having a lot of issues for others :-\
