Great privacy and security concern

Hello @everyone,
Dear @rabbit Team,
After reporting several new beautiful experiences with my R1, I faced a big problem that involves my privacy and the general Privacy Protection of the Users and I want to take a moment to talk about it.
More than 30 days ago, I contacted Rabbit Support to ask the removal of a Rabbit Hole account that I don’t use; they responded asking me to wait because they forwarded the request to the relative department, but no response was submitted and no action was taken.
According to several discussions on Reddit, particularly This One, no user was able to delete their account.
Some of them noticed also that after resetting Rabbit R1 and setting it up again, every conversation stored is back once more, so no data will be deleted at all.
Since this is a serious privacy concern, especially for me in the EU with a strong GDPR, I eagerly await for a comment from the staff and I ask the team to diagnose the problem and to provide a solution as soon as possible.
I ask every user to push on this, due to the importance and delicacy of the thing.

Hey @KarimGouda04 , I’m sorry for your experience. Feel free to send the details my way (security@rabbit.tech). We have a process for GDPR deletion requests, and I’d love to dig into this to better understand the gap.

As far as linking/unlinking goes - that is correct. Your data is stored in the cloud, so linking/unlinking an R1 will have no effect on the data stored in the rabbithole. Let me see if I can find some support articles that explain this better…

I suppose you can delete your profile once you are logged in right?

They literally have to delete it. There are similar laws in California where they operate and they are obligated to delete your data if you request it. if you are on discord reach out to support or to Simon if you don’t hear back.
