Sometimes, when turning on my device (from power off), and booting into vision mode, I’ll try to snap a picture (for magic camera, or, say a visual prompt i.e. “what is this?”) and the device will crash. The screen will turn off, the camera doesn’t flip back, the R1 logo pops up, and the camera will eventually fix itself once it reboots (I believe — either that or going into vision mode again fixes it).
I’ve had this happen two boots in a row, and only on the 3rd boot did magic camera finally work.
Not too sure what’s causing this — I have a day1 TWA device. One thing I’ll say is that I’ll often leave my device plugged in and turned on for an extended period of time. Would there be any potential memory leaks that cause this? I don’t think that’s the root cause, as like I said, it can happen directly after boot.
