better methods for getting data to r1

One of the areas I struggle with is how to get data into the R1. Speaking is obviously the main method of getting information into the device and doing queries. The other is the camera, however both of these are limited. The camera for instance, is of a lower resolution and you can only do queries on one image at a time for the voice prompting you are limited to one minute worth of speaking. There are times where you might have a document, some code or a code and some error messages and things that you might want to run a query on. And right now there’s no good way to get this data into rabbit. One solution could be to allow people to upload files to the rabbit hole and then be able to run queries against those files from the device. I know we’ve talked about global memory, but maybe there is some other way like a limited section on the rabbit hole for documents or larger text posts to run queries against.

I like the idea of having “folders” in the rabbithole (fits the theme of rabbitos), where you can tell r1 to pull data from.

One might try taking a text document to a QR code generater, then let the r1 read the QR code which “should” put the text in where one can ask to store it.

Let me know if this works!

@DrAndy It doesn’t… Can I ask what you would use something like this for? The models rabbit is using can read text already. Not that you can easily do anything with it at the moment.

Hey, thanks for letting me know. I was keen to be able to share important emails as PDF or copy and paste so I could essentially start keeping R1 as a calendar etc.

Instead what I did as a trial was print my next month as a pdf export from the calendar and trial the eye and that works well but far too tedious for any real work.

Maybe our rabbit should have a unique email or drag and drop area in the journal on the rabbit hole for this?

A knowledgebase in the Rabbithole would be great!
