Testing the signal strength/connection status. Wi-Fi and cellular off. You can see it cycling through trying to connect and then reporting that there is no connection. I think this is huge. Especially for troubleshooting. I believe a lot of issues people have are with poor signal strength. Now at least they’ll know.
I think for rabbit’s sake (having to report to the team that things are slow, not working, etc.) this should be a permanent signal strength meter like on our phones. So if you are experiencing slowness or failed recording sessions you can see that it is likely because of a weak signal.

I’m a bit confused tho, the release notes say
- main screen now shows signal strength/connection status notification"
To me that would indicate that there is a signal meter showing on the main screen at all times showing the strength. Only showing the signal meter when you have no signal is kind of weird in my opinion as its not really showing you the strength, it just shows when you have no connection. Would be nice to see a permanent meter on the screen like we have on our phones or other wireless devices and for it to show if we are using cellular or wifi
