For anyone that has a 3D printer, here’s an idea.
Get components similar to these images below. Start printing the back side of an r1 case. Once the back side is thick \ firm enough laydown the coil and circuit board on it and continue printing the inside back of it until these components are covered and the inside is all level. Then continue printing the rest of the case. This should sandwich to components permanently into the back of the case. for reference the coil is only 4.1cm long by 2.9cm wide. With the L shaped USB-C connector below it should not stick out of the r1 enough to cause a problem when putting the r1 in your pocket. You can even build the case so that it completely covers the USB port and this connector.
