Only just installed, this really is a great companion app, thanks so much for sharing!
Love the app. Been using is since I saw this post. Did you update to iOS26?
I just did yesterday and it seems to not be compatible.
Itâs a bug of URLSessionConfiguration on iOS 26 Beta 1, I hope they fix on the next release.

Oh no.
bummer.
Released new update:
- Initial iOS 26 beta support
- Added History on rabbitOS Intern and resume conversation
- Added task left visualization
This is something Iâve always wanted, and itâs so well done. Thank you for your work and for sharing it with us! The quickness for getting my magic cam photos to my phone - that pipeline - is something that has been sorely needed.
Hi @simon I would like to release the app on the App Store (completely free of charge, of course), but I would need your permission to use the name and graphics. Would that be possible? Thank you very much ![]()
Unfortunately our legal team would say no. IP protection and all of that. I would advise using related terms (carrot, bunny, etc) and not our logos. And making it clear in the description that it is third party / unofficial.
Thank you for your reply Simon I completely understand your position regarding IP protection and the need to safeguard your brand and assets.
That said, I wanted to ask whether there might be any possibility to explore an alternative arrangement. Using the official graphics would allow me to create something far more polished, cohesive, and respectful of the original identity. My intention is not to compete with or misrepresent your brand, but rather to build something that enhances the experience for existing fans.
I would absolutely be open to signing a formal licensing agreement with clear limitations on scope, usage, and distribution. Additionally, I would be willing to include clear disclaimers and comply with any brand guidelines you require. If at any point you decide to release an official app, I would also agree to remove or transition my app without issue.
Thank you again ![]()
It would be amazing if it were official. I love the app!
This app is superb. There needs to be an official collaboration.
I will add this to my backlog for team discussion.
I think the first question that weâd need answered though, is whether you would be willing to open source it, and how would we safeguard it and be able to verify that if you did, your open sourced code matches whatâs being compiled and distributed?
This is not to accuse you of wanting to do anything nefarious, but imagine the following scenario:
Letâs say weâve given you some kind of allowance to use any part of our IP, therefore on some level the app is condoned by us. You open source it, and everything is fine there.
Then, the following week, you submit an update, Apple approves it, and thereâs something going on in there that we arenât aware of and havenât agreed to. It doesnât have to be something broadly bad, so Apple doesnât have any problem with approving it.
We might not know that this is happening, so that poses a problem.
Realistically, I think the only two options are
- Itâs completely unauthorised, doesnât use any of our IP, and all users know this and are using it at their own risk.
- You sign an agreement with us, are under NDA, and we handle the compiling and distribution directly.
I think for legal reasons, Option 2 doesnât happen without us essentially paying you as a contractor and it being an official app, because otherwise ownership is messy, and you have no reason to just hand over your code all the time.
And thatâs not a call that I can make, or whether the company would even want to do it right now. It sort of seems to me that if this was a really high priority for us then we would have just done it already internally.
It doesnât seem likely to me that thereâs some kind of middle ground there.
