In the text based world of AI, extra crud at the end is just ignored. We all used to think this was ‘amazing’, but now we’re growing out of it.
Holding the r1 in your hand also implies a sort of availability. It’s like holding someone’s hand in a way - it says, ‘we’re together and here for each other’. That sounds a little creepy, written out like this, but I think that’s what people feel. 
So I agree - we don’t need the extra stuff at the end, whether it’s a redundant conclusion or a reassurance that follow-ups are available,
