Rabbit Hole on mobile: prev / next links

I had a nice conversation with the r1 regarding a project I’m working on. To prepare for a meeting, I wanted to browse the transcript on my phone - a series of “white entries” on my journal timeline. This was difficult to do because I had to keep doing “back to journal” and then I needed to keep count of which entry to click on next because there’s no “highlight and solid circle” style for the most-recently-visited entry. It would have been really handy to have a “previous” and “next” link in each journal entry to click on to go directly to the next or previous journal entry.

This isn’t a problem on the desktop version because of the “highlight and solid circle” style that the currently-viewed record gets.

This is a great callout. Even better, if they figure out which entries are related and automatically chain them together on the same page so you can view at the same time.

Additionally, I think that the rabbithole should be paginated in general, so that not all entries have to be loaded at once.

I’m betting when they roll out their upcoming memory recall features there will be even more improvements to the UX of the Journal.
