There is an inconsistency between different cards. Some of them are full screen, some are small cards. I think about old full-screen apps that worked well, and the card mode is suitable for switching between cards and adds more interaction options, e.g. swiping in card mode discards the app/interface, and in full-screen mode, swiping from right edge can be used for showing up a playlist, in the recorder, it could be used to get into switching modes: record or list of recordings, similar in magic galery swiping right left to switch pictures and swiping from the edge to switch modes: pictture view to gallery view.
BTW, I noticed that you resigned from horizontal view. It would be nice to get back to using it.
