R1's new memory THREAD

Curious Rabbit R1 User Here — What Are You Using Memory For?

Hey everyone!

I’ve just started exploring the new memory feature on my Rabbit R1, and I’m super intrigued by what it can do. After going through the initial memory interview and testing a few prompts, I’m wondering how others are making the most of this functionality.

So I’m reaching out to the community — what kind of use cases have you found for memory on your R1?

  • Do you use it to remember personal details like birthdays or favorite foods?
  • Is it helping you with hobbies or learning something new?
  • Have you found creative or unexpected ways to integrate it into your daily routines?

I’m a user from their discord, im technical but because of my autism with some things i lack imagination, but I’m really curious to hear how folks like you are using memory to make R1 more personal and useful.

My own experience has been amazing

“What i have been using it for”

  • having it helping me with routines in the way i find fun and useful
  • getting it to know me better
  • helping me where my keys are located
  • having it answering questions based on chances with may or may not answers (intern joke between me and a another user)
  • if it has trouble with my town i have it remember my town and postal code
  • my name and its own name
  • helping me with new music genres for when im using suno ai
  • helping me with questions i can ask my living assistance home assistants for when we have nothing to talk about
  • helping me with storage counting with the amount of beers and coca cola’s i have. How many gets added when i have bought new ones and how many i have drinked. So it it does this calculation when i say simple phrases like added cola etc
  • cartoon movie scripts for text based movie entertainment read in short when im bored

Drop your thoughts, tips, or cool examples below!

Thanks in advance!

I’m a heaaavyyyy ChatGPT user so it knows a lot about me already. I made a hack to “migrate” all the memories from ChatGPT into my rabbit r1 so rabbit is super ready for every task!

I used the following prompt:

"Imagine that you are training my new assistant and you have to give them specifics about me so they know as much about me as you do.

List them and write them as your memory format, example: “Mars likes writing”.

Also include wording so they know how I like some concepts to be referred, and descriptions about me."

It gave me a super extensive list of memories and I copied and pasted them into the memory manager in the rabbithole. Has been working incredibly!!!
