I think rabbit would benefit from having more “personality”, a way to stand out among other ai assistants, and to connect more with users. Like I asked if it had a favorite color and it said “AIs don’t have personal preferences blah blah”, I was kind of hoping it would say orange . Or if we ask it if it likes a show or band it could list nice things about the topic and try to put a “personal” spin on it, which could make it appear to be a fan, which would make it much more like, personable. Just more pleasant to talk to.
Some one correct me if I’m wrong, I’ve not got my hands on the r1 yet.
But I recall you can instruct the r1 to refer to you using your name currently.
And then when memory recall is fully up and running it will be able to recall your favourite things like music, food you like and other stuff.
Kinda moving in your direction, not too sure about the r1 being able to have its own personality
The default name should be “Samantha” if you say your name is Theodore
Correct!
And we definitely plan to add more personality. We’ll probably add some easter eggs soon. I like when it says “Taxi! Just kidding” when you ask it to call an Uber
Does that mean that you will be able to provide more context about yourself in the rabbit hole to provide more context to make it relevant of you?
Right now it’s a nice gadget comparing what I am able to do with chat GPT and Perplexity because they provide me more options to make it relevant for me.
So I wopuld ready love this option and also would applaud an option to be able to preset a prompt that I can trigger by a specific phrase (like “Activate prompt Daily update” and it would give me a recap of all of the relevant news I would like to get on a specific topic from preselected sources)
I don’t have any specifics right now but broadly I think you’re thinking in a similar direction to us. What you’ve described is definitely one way we could implement it for sure. Ultimately r1 should know as much about you as possible to be helpful, and there are different ways we could do that.
Sweet, , yea some more jokes and Easter eggs and hopefully less robotic answers to “personal” questions would be so cool
I do wish Rabbit had made a deal with “Pi” AI rather than the companies they did, for the primary answering LLM. I don’t know if you’ve ever tried it, but that one (app is free if you want to check it out) is by far the most “personality” full. Almost too much, it always throws emojis in when responding to you.
And it’s a quality model, made by good people. 2 of the 3 founders of the company got stolen by Microsoft in March.
