It would be helpful if the device could allow direct editing of existing notes, rather than creating a new note with each modification.

I can get it to work for me with a bit of prompting and reminders (not totally consistently). I also found I have a little more success if I remind it to check the rabbit hole . Not perfect, but testing out various conversation prompts.
