I absolutely love the Magic Camera feature BUT I can’t understand its hallucinations. 3 examples:
I own a Hyundai SUV. Magic camera made a cute and faithful drawing of it, but put a GMC logo on it. Why GMC, not any other brand?
My Caucasian daughter has black hair, but Magic Camera clearly seems to think she is Indian. The clothing is correct, but the facial features are not even generic, they are definitely Indian.
I’m not Indian and am bald. I took a self and Magic Camera clearly gave me Indian features and skin tone. My mom, however, is shown as a Caucasian teenager.
What LLM is being used that makes these assumptions???
Image gets passed to vision which makes a generic description which then gets generated into a new image. There are probably rules in the vision model (not defined by Rabbit) that force it to be generic rather than specific.
Yep on all of this. That’s why we added the disclaimer on the rabbithole entries. I typically take multiple shots if it’s something that has a high chance of gender/race hallucinations etc.
So Indian is the generic go-to race as dictated by the LLM? I like some of the hallucinations because they are pretty witty, but I don’t understand how “generic” means a certain brand or racial identity.
Similarly, when I ask Rabbit R1 to play a song, it automatically plays The Beatles. The Beatles have never even been on my playlist, nor is “Hey Jude” on the current charts? How does it default to this group/song combo every time?
It’s essentially the default camera on the r1 right now.
Double click to get into camera mode, then just click once to take a picture - it will show up in the rabbithole as a magic pic.
Right now it generates what was taken into a pixel style image based on a prompt of the image, however the theme will potentially be changing on a semi regular basis at some point.
