Improving "settings" and network access

I am constantly needing to go into the network settings for various reasons (daily), and the settings menu is extremely unintuitive and not user-friendly at all.

When there is no internet connection you cannot use voice commands to change settings.

The network settings should be the first option in the settings as it is likely to be the most commonly used, or have a similar shortcut to the sound adjustment function.

If you look at iPhone, the settings menu is organised as:

  • Aeroplane mode/Airplane Mode
  • Wi-Fi ← SECOND
  • Bluetooth
  • etc.

On the R1:

  • brightness
  • sound
  • bluetooth
  • network ← FOURTH
  • etc.

Network settings are significantly more important than other settings as the device is unusable and useless without any connection; also considering that “sound” has been given it’s own shortcut, there is no reason for it to be higher than ‘network’.

Not sure if this helps for now, but a reminder that you can access many menu preferences with voice commands also

Most of the time I need to go to the settings because my connection isn’t working so unfortunately this doesn’t work. Hopefully they can add basic commands on-device and offline
